Hi everybody
I’ve been separated from my computer for a week. Last week, we had a ridiculous amount of rains/flooding where I live, and my basement flooded with water. My room is in the basement. And no, it wasn’t just rain water; it was sewer water. So I left Dad’s house and went to Mom’s for a while until everything cleared up. I just moved back over and my room still smells like sewer but luckily my oil lamp is making it smell a little better. I think I have pictures of some of the flooding. Oh, and I have a picture of a really huge slug that Dad and I found in the driveway after it flooded. Cool. I shall put those below.

Dad siphoning water.
Sewage water in my bathtub. Sick.

Giant slug.
This weekend, I went on a retreat with the IB kids at my school. (International Baccalaureate) I have some pictures from it. I can put those below too.
We went white water rafting and played in the rain for a day and “bonded with nature”, AKA took showers with bugs. It was fun.

Cabins.

A small town along the way.

Guitar-playing boyfriend and cards
Well, I think that is about it for this post. I REALLY loved reading everyone’s comments to my last post! I was so excited that all of you actually responded. I laughed out loud at some of them.
Also – i HAVE been working on my answer video but my computer is having major issues and I have a really busy week. So much to do. Second college application due Wednesday, tests, tests, tests.
Have a wonderful week, everyone

so, when i’m in kind of a bad mood, I go to wal-mart and walk around until i find something that interests me. usually, everything interests me. i love wal-mart.
tonight, i decided to buy this really cool oil burning stone contraption. there’s a place for a tea light under it, and you just put some oil in the top bowl thing and it makes your house smell good. (see below. however, mine looks cooler than that one.)

that’s what my life consists of! and now, my room smells like “cinnamon nutmeg”. mmmmm.
it reminds me of Christmas.
i get attracted to the weirdest groups of things in stores like wal-mart when i’m looking around. i usually end up staying in the hygiene, school supplies, scented objects, art supplies, and camera sections of the store for ridiculous amounts of time. and even the clothes section. for some reason, i’m not even drawn to the chocolate/candy section. what kind of weird things do you guys get drawn to when you go shopping for no reason? i’m sure you have some weird ones too.
anyways, friday was 9/11. for the past 7 years on the day of 9/11, i’ve thought about it, but i haven’t been legitimately sad over it. this year, i was. i looked up a bunch of memorial videos and different stories about the survivors and it’s all so sad. isn’t it weird how we can just learn to slowly forget about things like that and how sad they really were? we had a moment of silence after the pledge of allegiance at school, and we all had to remain standing. i felt like crying. i feel so bad for all the families who lost someone that day. so many people are sad on September 11th.
wow, so i guess i’m ending on a happy note.
hope i didn’t bring you guys down too much!

P.S.- i haven’t had time to make the answers video yet. sorry! school’s kicking my butt. and i don’t want it to suck. so, there.
P.P.S.- don’t forget to leave a comment telling me weird things you’re drawn to in large stores!

hello again
two days in a row.
today was nice. i think i’m getting sick though; i woke up and my throat was killlllling me.
the swine is out to get me! :0
i probably shouldn’t be spending any time on the computer at all right now… i have a ridiculous number of things due tomorrow, ACT saturday, and more stuff due monday. ah, procrastination.
i just stopped writing for a few minutes and paused my music because i watched a video about a mummified child sacrifice on youtube. why am i so creepy? it was interesting though. they found a five hundred year old mummy of a 15 year old girl who was sacrificed and somehow everything about her is still in tact. it’s crazy. they even tested her hair to see what kind of diet she had. that’s ridiculous. i hope nobody digs me up in five hundred years and does tests on my body parts to find out about my personal life. well, i guess they could just creep on me via internet.
okay, that’s all for today i suppose.
i’m so glad tomorrow is friday. i’m ready to graduate.

hello world of youtube
and, i guess, wordpress.
i already tried to post something in here but Safari decided to freeze instead of cooperating. oh well.
anyways, i decided to start a blog, as you can see. i think i’m going to make a video telling everyone about it.
i will tell you what’s going on with me, make excuses about why i haven’t been making videos, etc. perhaps it will be more personal than my youtube.
maybe i’ll post my deepest darkest feelings in here. (not really.) or maybe i’ll post artsy pictures. or pictures of my cats. (more likely.) who knows? the world is limitless! ha
okay.
i think that about sums it up.
oh oh oh, no it doesn’t! another thing: a bunch of you have been asking about what kind of music i listen to. so instead of making a video about it i’m just going to post the title and artist of the song i’m listening to while i “blog”.
see you soon
